Modifying SMTP Address

You can add additional electronic mail addresses to bulk users at a time using this feature from ADManager Plus.

Procedure :

Offset, set the additional e-mail accost or boosted email address format and so apply the aforementioned to bulk users based on your requirement.

Steps:

1. Select the Advertizement Mgmt tab.

2. Click the Change SMTP link available under Exchange Attributes. This opens the Modify Delivery Restrictions of the Users dialog.

3. Select the user category - Mailbox Enabled Users, for which you want to ready additional e-mail address.

4. Southpecify the Proxy email address by clicking on the Add together button. The Add Email Address Format dialog box will appear.

5. Specify the additional email address format in the corresponding text field. Ensure you specify SMTP in upper instance for setting the email address equally Primary. For the email address to be a secondary address, mention smtp in small example in the format.

6. Click on Add More Format link in the dialog to specify/remove additional email address format and click OK.

7. You can at present use one of the following options to list the contacts whose group attributes accept to be modified

The alter summary and the status of the modification can be verified.

To change the SMTP address for Post Enabled Users,

1. Select the Advert Mgmt tab.

2. Click the Alter SMTP link available under Exchange Attributes. This opens the Modify Commitment Restrictions of the Users dialog.

3. Select the user category - Mail service Enabled Users, for which you want to set additional email address .

4. Specify the Target Address in the corresponding text field. This field will be hidden in the earlier case when Mailbox enabled users was selected.

5. Specify the Proxy email address by clicking on the Add push. The Add E-mail Address Format dialog box will appear.

6. Specify the boosted email address format in the corresponding text field. Ensure you lot specify SMTP in upper case for setting the email address every bit Primary. For the electronic mail address to be a secondary address, mention smtp in small example in the format.

7. Click on Add More than Format link in the dialog to specify/remove additional email address format.

8. Click OK subsequently specifying the required format.

9. Select the domain and search the users. Y'all tin can limit your search to specific OU's of the domain by   clicking the Select OU link and selecting the OU's.
